Terrific place, quiet, private, with view, 2 minutes by foot to the best sandy beach on the island, the water clearer than a swimming pool. Well equipped studio, 2 burner stove, all necessary items, nice little fridge, lacks nothing, great cross ventilation, screens to keep the mosquitoes out, sweet veranda, and the best landlord - Andreas from Philoxenes Katoikias- in the world. I could not have been happier.
Splendid all around. You do need a car if you want to see the island (true of any rental on Kythira), but supermarket only 15 minute drive away, and lovely walks right from Diakofti - up to Agia Moni, towards Agia Pelagia to the north, and to Avrailemonas along the coast to the south.
Only negative is that I could not stay here permanently!!
